Hue rotation shifts every color by the same angle on the color wheel. A +120° turn maps red to green, green to blue and blue back to red, while keeping tones and brightness intact. At ±180° each color lands on its opposite, which can turn a blue sky into orange.
Use a small shift (-10° to +10°) to correct an unwanted color cast or nudge a product photo toward the brand palette. Larger shifts are for creative recoloring, album art or surreal edits.
