HEX vs. RGB vs. HSL โ which to use?
HEX is the standard for HTML/CSS and design tools. RGB (0โ255 each) is common in image editing and code. HSL (Hue 0โ360ยฐ, Saturation/Lightness 0โ100%) is the easiest to reason about when you want to lighten, darken or shift a color, because each channel maps to a human concept.
