使用方法
- Upload an image — click the drop box, drag a file in, or paste with Ctrl/⌘+V.
- Set the grid size — the number of stitches wide. Height follows the aspect ratio automatically.
- Limit the colors — reduce the palette to 4–30 threads. Rare colors are dropped and their cells re-matched to the nearest remaining thread.
- Choose a stitch style — Symbol prints a letter per cell for a readable chart; Solid draws colored X marks for a visual preview.
- Toggle grid lines — heavier lines appear every 10 stitches for easy counting.

Symbol vs. solid charts
Symbol mode assigns a unique letter (A–Z, 0–9) to each thread color and renders it on a white background, so the chart stays legible even when printed in black and white. The legend on the right maps each letter to its DMC code and stitch count. Solid mode draws a colored X in each cell, giving a quick visual impression of how the finished piece will look. Use Symbol for assembly, Solid for previewing.
